Infinity EP is the first joint release from Ethan Cohn and Sebastián Greschuk, co-leaders of Ensemble Infinity. They seamlessly blend their original compositions into a singular collaborative project by exploring the lush sound, harmony, and groove that can be achieved in this octet format.

Although Ethan, from New York City, USA, and Sebastián, from Santa Fe, Argentina, come from vastly different backgrounds, their chemistry was clear from the start. When they recorded this album in 2021 in Basel, Switzerland, it soon became apparent their music was meant to exist together. In addition to an undeniable personal bond, this surprising compatibility is a result of their many shared influences: though the project is undoubtedly jazz, there are hints of Ethan and Sebastián’s love of folk rhythms, rock, pop, and avant-garde music.

Infinity EP features musicians hailing from all around the world and is a testament to the everlasting power music has to bridge gaps between all different types of people.
